Arunava Das is currently the Managing Director - CEO - Institutional Equities, USA. He leads the Institutional Equities business across the region and oversees all strategic and operational functions for JM Financial’s activities in the United States and Canada.

With over two decades of leadership experience in working with U.S. institutional investors, Arunava has been a trusted partner and strategic advisor to many of the world’s leading global institutional funds. He has successfully spearheaded the participation of North American investors in over 200 IPOs and 150 QIPs, building a robust and consistent track record in capital markets.

Drawing from a strong foundation in equity sales, Arunava has earned a distinguished reputation in Indian stock research sales, ensuring that clients receive the optimal blend of research insights and data-driven analysis to support effective investment decisions.

Beyond public market deals, Arunava has also led numerous large-scale private market transactions involving U.S.-based funds. He has cultivated deep, long-standing relationships with some of the largest institutional investors globally and currently heads JM Financial’s U.S. institutional investor desk.

Before joining JM Financial, Arunava held senior leadership positions at JPMorgan and Procter & Gamble, where he gained extensive experience across finance, strategy, and client engagement.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), with a specialization in Finance and Strategy.
