Mr. Kampani joined the JM Financial Group in 1997 in Investment Banking and subsequently worked with Morgan Stanley in New York. Upon his return to India in the year 2000, Mr. Kampani joined JM Morgan Stanley (Joint Venture between JM Financial Group and Morgan Stanley) and pivoted Corporate Finance within the Investment Bank. He went on to head the Corporate Finance Division

Post 2008, Mr. Kampani played an instrumental role in identifying new growth opportunities and further diversifying the business of the JM Financial Group, including private credit business, private equity business and expansion of the capital markets business

Mr. Kampani was appointed as Managing Director of JM Financial Limited in 2016 and was subsequently appointed as non-executive Vice Chairman in 2021.

He also strategized JM Financial Group’s foray into the housing finance business through JM Financial Home Loans Limited in 2017. Under his leadership, JM Financial Limited successfully raised equity funds in 2018 and 2020 from marquee domestic and global investors.

In a career spanning over two and a half decades, Mr. Kampani has played a defining role in ideating and consummating several landmark and transformational M&A, fund raising and restructuring transactions. In addition, he has strategized JM Financial Group’s expansion across the spectrum of financial services.

Mr. Kampani has been working extensively with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in several roles in the BFSI Sector.

He is a member of Primary Market Advisory Committee, SEBI

Mr. Kampani was awarded The Economic Times "40 under 40" in 2016.

Mr. Kampani has completed his MS (Finance) from London Business School, University of London.

Mr. Adi Patel joined the Merchant Banking Division in November, 1993 and is currently the Managing Director of the Company and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is also a  qualified Chartered Accountant.

He has executed some landmark M&A / restructuring transactions for some of the leading business houses in India.

Over the last 30 years, he has developed strong relationships with leading Indian and global clients across various Industry segments and has advised them on numerous strategic M&A / restructuring transactions.

Ms. Sonia Dasgupta is the Managing Director & CEO of the Investment Banking division at JM Financial. A seasoned investment banker, Ms. Dasgupta brings over 25 years of rich experience. A graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, she has held key leadership positions in JM Financial, including Head of FIG Coverage, Head of M&A Origination, and Head of Group Borrowings. During the journey, she has been at the helm of numerous landmark transactions as well as led advisory and fund-raising transactions for a large number of domestic and overseas clients.

Ms. Dasgupta’s leadership experience and proven track record in structuring marquee transactions has earned her multiple recognitions. In 2023, she was named one of India’s 100 Most Influential Women by Business World. Earlier, in 2019, she was honoured as one of the Top 100 Women in Finance by the Association of International Wealth Management of India(AIWMI).

Mr. Sheth joined JM Financial in 2001 and has been associated with the group from more than two decades. Since then, he has played various roles in transforming JM Financial group into a financial services conglomerate. In the year 2017, Mr. Sheth successfully incubated and built a housing finance business from scratch. He convinced the management and the board to venture into a value creation opportunity by getting into affordable housing finance. He managed right from applying to NHB to recruiting right talent and operationalizing the business.

From 2006 to 2023, he served as the Group CFO. In addition to overseeing finance and related matters of JM Financials’ Group’s key business segments including Investment Banking, Wealth and Securities business, NBFCs, HFC, Private Equity (PE), Asset Reconstruction (ARC), Asset Management (Mutual Fund) and Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) businesses, he was also responsible for international treasury and operations. Additionally, he was a part of the Investor Relations function for the group and a member of the Group Asset Liability management committee (Group ALCO). He has been a first port of call for restructuring, negotiations and execution for any JV, stake sale, strategic investments or acquisition opportunity for the group.

Additionally, Mr. Sheth is a member of IC for JM Financial family office having investments across asset classes (Equities, Debt, PEs & VCs, Real Estate, and Overseas). Some of the marquee investments includes investments in pre-IPO shares of Facebook (US), international REITs, Private Equity investments in Nykaa, PharmEasy, Toothsi, Jupiter hospital, Multiples PE, Asha impact fund, Paragon partners etc.

Mr. Sheth is also a trustee of JM Financial Foundation, a charitable trust carrying on philanthropy and CSR initiatives for JM Financial Group. Trust has a corpus of over Rs 100 Crores and its implementing variety of charitable and CSR projects across hinterland in India. Trusts operates in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra through their projects cutti.ng across Poverty alienation, Healthcare, Education and livelihood support initiatives

Mr. Sheth was also awarded as Best CFO winner in the category, ‘CA CFO Financial, Consulting and Other Service Sector’ at the 11th ICAI Awards in 2017.

Sandeep is responsible for balance sheet lending and debt capital market services to our corporate clients. He leads a specialized team which focuses on both underwriting and distributing credit across performing and special situations spectrum.

He brings over 25 years of work experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Structured Lending

He joined JM Financial in 1998 and has held leadership roles including Head Mergers & Acquisition, Head Coverage – Diversified Industrials. He has worked on several landmark M&A, advisory and fund-raising transactions for several leading domestic and overseas clients across sectors.

He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Masters in Management Studies from JBIMS, Mumbai. Prior to joining JM Financial, he worked with Deutsche Bank Ag.
